Costa Rica Cerro La Pastora Estate Tarrazu

Micro-milled, very high grown coffee (above 4,200 ft.) from the heart of Tarrazu. La Pastora is a small community overlooking San Marcos. It doesn't get any more Tarrazu than this.

Cupping notes: Sweet chocolatey aroma with soft berry notes, vibrant acidity, smooth almost overpowering rich body, long pleasant aftertaste. Our recommendation is a City ++ to Full City roast. One of the few coffees we don't like roasted too lightly because the beans don't develop the classic, rather heavy chocolatey flavors that Tarrazu's are famous for. For those whom like a really dark roast, this is the one.
