| Grown by a fourth generation coffee farmer
who bought an abandoned farm less than ten years ago and transformed
it to a Cup of Excellence winner. The estate's coffee trees are shaded
by Ingas, Colpachi and Cypress trees. It is located in the Apaneca
mountain range in western El Salvador which is very rich in volcanic
soil. Cupping Notes: Lively cup with broad range
of flavors: sweet lemon, raspberry and caramel, with soft floral
undertones. Pleasant, lingering aftertaste.
Roasting Notes: City+. Holds up well to a darker
roast which brings out vanilla, malt, chocolate. |
