Roasting and Cupping Notes: As with most decafs, a normal roast cycle is about 10% less time than caffeinated coffee counterparts. As typical of SWP decaffeinated coffees, over-roasting these beans will produce a carbony, almost charcoal-like appearance which is mostly, but not entirely cosmetic which is why we like to roast them lighter degree. Roasting them lighter seems to go a long ways to preserving the flavor and maintaining a medium to full body. Note: these are unroasted green coffee beans |
